Privacy Policy

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• Account data: Name (parent and child), email address, user role
• Communication data: WhatsApp number (where provided for reminders), email address
• Learning data: Lesson progress, test scores, flashcard reviews, AI interactions, badges earned
• Payment data: Payment reference, screenshot confirmation, plan selected, parent name. We do not store bank card details.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, page interaction logs
• Communication preferences: Email and WhatsApp consent status

We use your personal data to:

• Create and manage your account
• Deliver educational content, AI teaching, and progress tracking
• Process and confirm subscription payments
• Send trial reminders, subscription notifications, and account updates (where consented)
• Provide coaching sessions and scheduling
• Improve our platform content and AI quality
• Ensure platform safety and acceptable use
• Respond to support requests

By creating an account or activating a trial, you consent to receiving:

• Service emails (account activation, trial reminders, subscription status)
• Educational progress notifications

If you provide a WhatsApp number, you additionally consent to receiving WhatsApp messages related to your trial and subscription status.

You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time via your account settings or by emailing Charles@GenAiusAcademy.ae. Essential service emails (account, billing, safety) cannot be opted out of while your account is active.

Where students are under 18, the parent or guardian is the account holder and primary data controller. We collect only the minimum child data required to deliver the educational service (name for personalisation, learning progress, test scores).

We do not sell, share, or use children's data for advertising purposes. AI interactions involving minors are not used to train external AI models.

Parents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child's data at any time by contacting us.

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

• Platform providers: The Base44 platform, which powers our app infrastructure (subject to their data processing terms)
• AI providers: AI content is generated via third-party LLM APIs. No personally identifiable student information is included in AI prompts beyond the educational context.
• Coaches: Coaches assigned to a student may view that student's progress and game data for coaching purposes.

We do not share your data with third-party advertisers, marketing platforms, or data brokers.

We retain your account and learning data for the duration of your active relationship with GenAius Academy and for up to 2 years thereafter. You may request earlier deletion of your data by contacting us.

Payment confirmation records are retained for up to 7 years for accounting compliance purposes.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls, encrypted data storage via our platform provider, and restricted access by staff and coaches.

In the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authority within 72 hours where required by law.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Data portability (a copy of your data in a machine-readable format)
• Withdraw consent for communications at any time

Our website uses minimal cookies required for platform functionality and authentication. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
