Charles Storey is a FIDE Master — an internationally recognised chess title held by fewer than 1 in 1,000 competitive players worldwide. He is the creator of the Sniper chess opening system, published internationally by Everyman Chess, and an official ChessBase author whose video courses have been purchased by thousands of players globally.
As former coach to the England Under-16 Chess Olympiad team, Charles worked within the national elite junior development programme — shaping some of Britain's most promising young chess talents. His competitive career spans over 170 tournament victories and includes 2 International Master norms achieved in FIDE-rated events.
Charles holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) as a Computer Science specialist and a Masters in Teaching & Learning from King's College London.
